This May will be 3 years since we began making Carl’s Williamsburg Handmade Oil Colors. What a beautiful addition they have made to this companies range of products. We have embraced the passion that drove the search for beautiful colors and we’ve been having a lot of fun bringing back or introducing over 18 new colors to the line. In addition to the new colors we have also continued the Williamsburg tradition of making custom oil colors for artists that require the types of changes in their working properties or colors that Golden Artist Colors is so well known for. I love making custom products. Each time we learn so much from the process.

We have also brought back the special edition colors, allowing us to provide colors that might not have broader appeal but allow us to engage in a unique dialogue with artists and with artists who love color. For the many artists who have been such fans of Williamsburg colors it remains our commitment to produce those colors with the same dedication and life that Carl imbued them with yet with one important addition; the skill and talent of an incredible team at Golden Artist Colors, to continually ensure that these beautiful colors remain consistent and the quality that our customers depend upon.
