Online Printmaking for Collage, Sculpture & Book Arts

We will explore techniques using your own printed imagery to create inspirational artworks! Learn the basics of creating monotype, collagraph, thermofax and relief printed images. All of this can be done without a press, using water based, slow drying GOLDEN acrylic paints. These methods create unique results; the pressure of printing creates texture and pattern not possible when painting directly on paper. Several examples & demonstrations will show the printing process plus how these prints can then be used in Collage, Sculpture & Book Arts. Including which products work best for gluing various types & weights of paper. Gain a broad understanding of product, material, method, tips & tricks. .... Instructor will demonstrate several techniques and answer questions during the workshop. A class summary & recording link will be provided afterwards so that artists can continue their exploration independently. .... Can't make the 'Live' online class?
