Victoria Wallace is a mixed-media Toronto-born visual artist and art educator, now living in Burlington, Ontario, exhibiting her art and conducting workshops in acrylic, encaustic, and sculptural media. She operated a successful mural and specialty paint finish company in Toronto for over 25 years, which included work for television programs, commercials, film, restaurants, businesses and private collections across Canada and internationally. Primarily self taught, Victoria has exhibited and/or taught at The Art Gallery of Peterborough, Sir Sanford Fleming College, Haliburton School of the Art and Design, Humber College Assembly Hall, University of Toronto Faculty Club, Montgomery Museum, Toronto, Station Gallery, Whitby, and has been an exhibitor during the Kawartha Autumn Studio Tour over 10 years. Ms Wallace is a certified Golden Artist Educator for Golden Paints and as an R&F Handmade Paints Certified Encaustic Instructor. Her paintings and extensive commissions, containing representational, yet surrealistic interplay of subject matter, are often infused with the 'trompe l’oeil' influence she mastered through years of mural painting.
