In this demonstration, Megan will walk you through the creative journey behind her series 'Poetry of Flowers'. She'll begin by discussing the development of her own unique symbolic language, followed by small, insightful colour studies and the creation of original photo references. Blending traditional and contemporary painting techniques, Megan will demonstrate how she first establishes the composition using value-based blocking techniques, then moves into a more intuitive and spontaneous approach to adding colour.
