Watercolor Batik on Rice Paper
Watercolor Batik is immensely fun! The waxing feeds your perfectionist and the washes feed your wild child! We will use wax and watercolor to create some beautiful, creative pieces on an amazing surface -textured rice paper of all things. This technique can be used with any subject and you'll leave this class with enough knowledge to work on your own at home. Mixed Media Collage - Sunflower
Today we have fun with paint and a bit of collage. We begin by using colored Art Tissue papers to make an interesting background. Then we will "pull" the subject from that background using watercolor and/or acrylic paint....maybe even a bit of pastel or colored pencil. This is fun technique. Come join us!
