• The Art Class, Autumn Term

  Suitable for enthusiastic beginners to career artists as well as those who want creative community and connection throughout the later autumn months. Weekly 90 minute sessions. Topics covered include: Tools and materials Paints and papers Keeping a workshop journal Making your own sketchbook Simple colour theory Applying colour theory to strengthen work Finding favourite colour mixes Developing your style Follow along with me over 8 weeks as we complete three large paintings. Meeting in person online every week, learning will build session by session, via structured lessons and demonstration paintings. Students are welcome to paint along or simply watch. the sessions. Each week there will be time to review individual work and have feedback on paintings if desired. Each session is recorded and will be available to rewatch, so no worries if a session is missed. The Art Class runs in terms of 8 weeks, each week costs £15, payable in advance.

• Garden of Delights

  Flowers - beauty, abundance joy! let's paint them. All materials provided. Maximum 6 participants. The focus of the day will loosen up and paint the essence of flowers, have some fun using the entire paint box! Explore with me the use of colour and design from the flowers themselves, then through layering, editing, simplifying and having some fun we'll make them our own. ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED top quality for great play including Charcoal Heavy weight large sheets of paper A selection of oil pastels and soft pastels from Sennelier and Unison Acrylic paint by GOLDEN paints Delicious lunch and more ....
