Gestural Seascapes workshop
Let go of detail and enjoy painting using gestural and expressive marks. Work on a larger scale and understand how to simplify your composition and layer your brushmarks to create an expressive representation of the seascape. I will share lots of tips and techniques, helping you discover the secrets of using different acrylic mediums to create varied brushstrokes, glazes and effects. With a limited palette of Acrylics and mixed media you will gain confidence and learn to progress from simplified studies on paper to a lively finished painting.

'Calm Reflections' workshop - Trees, lakes & water
Enjoy a wonderful day painting trees, lakes & water using acrylics with mixed media. We will explore impressionistic and contemporary mark-making as well as colour mixing using a limited palette. Layering The Landscape workshop
This is a day to explore ideas, loosen up your brushstrokes, and build confidence, enabling you to move from sketchbook ideas to an exciting painting without fear. We will be painting with a limited palette of acrylics and mixed media. This dynamic approach to painting the landscape incorporates painted collage and expressive mark-making, resulting in a better understanding of colour and composition. It is great for all abilities. Making Your Mark - Expressive Drawing Workshop
Think beyond the sketchbook with wildly expressive work on paper that is creative, innovative and personal to your own unique style. We’ll be creating new work using delicate marks and bold strokes, adding collage, erasing and smudging with graphite, charcoal, chalk and pastel in atmospheric tonal shades. Drawing confidently on layered and textured surfaces, created with pastes and grounds, will bring a new dimension to your work and unlock a wealth of ideas. This workshop will help you to work freely to create atmospheric studies of the landscape, as well as drawing from still life in the pottery.

Winter Landscapes workshop
Exploring colour and tone to create a dramatic painting, inspired by trees, light and Winter landscapes. Working with a limited colour palette of acrylics, you will gain a greater understanding of the use of harmonious colours in the landscape.
