PLAY Outside 2, the Play Book Series

Join Play Book! Themed weekly sessions about fun, fundamentals, creativity, and exploration for ALL levels and media. A “playbook” is a set of methods, suggestions, or tactics for an activity. In this ongoing web series, Frances will lead you in “Play.” Through play, you will develop a fun daily/weekly artistic practice, build your confidence, and improve your work quickly. Play Book explores images, textures, patterns, words, mediums, media, composition, colors, and other personal elements. These tools and techniques will push forward current work and inspire new projects. Each session features a creative prompt, technique, or style demo. These standalone classes build upon one another too. Take one, a few, or all of the classes! Sessions include: - Creative prompts and exercises for inspiration. - Step-by-step instruction for various techniques and methods. - Product and media application demonstrations. - Frances shares examples and inspiration from her own Play Books, artist books, and sketchbooks. - LIVE Q&A! - Feedback, support, and creative community in a private Facebook group, “Artist Mentoring with Frances.” - Access to class recording.
